Spiced peach slice

A sweet slice to start the year blogging again!

Excited to start sharing with you all again!

INGREDIENTS

410g tin peach slices

3/4 cup butter, room temperature

3/4 cup white sugar

2 eggs

1 1/2 cup sifted plain flour

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon pumpkin spice powder

METHOD

1. Preheat oven to 170c. Grease and line slice tin.

2. Drain peach slices and set aside.

3. Beat together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well.

4. Stir in flour, cinnamon and pumpkin spice.

5. Place half of the dough mixture into spice tin. Add a layer of peach slices and dust lightly with white sugar. Add remaining dough mixture on top and spread to cover peach slices.

6. Bake at 170c for 45 minutes.

Cool, slice and enjoy!
