Hearty beef and mushroom stew

This is a favourite slow cooker meal of mine. It can also be pressure cooked to the same consistency if you are time poor!

Hearty and warming!!

INGREDIENTS

500g heart smart diced beef

2 onions, finely sliced

1 teaspoon minced garlic

12 mushrooms, peeled and quartered

375ml beef stock

1 tablespoon all purpose seasoning

1 tablespoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Oil

METHOD

1. Turn slow cooker on the low temp sear for 5 minutes. Add in a squirt of oil and onions. Cook for 2 minutes.

2. Add in garlic pate and beef. Cook for 5 minutes until browned.

3. Add in all other ingredients and cook on a low slow cook temp for 6 hours.

Serve with rice/ pasta/ mashed potatoes and enjoy!
